I love the C7, but Corvettes don’t have back seats. The interior quality deteriorates after a year of regular use, and the styling will get old very quickly as soon as the next one comes out. The genius of the boring 911 design is that in the long run it makes every model timeless (maybe with the exception of the 996).

This is true. If you want “fresh” styling, check out the 718. Those are for people who care about the looks a lot.
