They have excellent social skills and an encyclopedic knowledge of the company and its goals. Plus they work their asses of, often at the expense of a lot of other things like health, family, etc.

Joining the Solar Car Team was the best decision I made in College. Way more unique than FSAE and hits all the eco-friendly buzzwords that car companies are looking for. Plus we actually race cars wheel-to-wheel on Formula 1 tracks instead of time trials with cones.

F-150 is possibly the most classless car in the U.S. It’s owned and driven proudly by high school kids and Billionaires alike. You can buy one for $2000 on craigslist or option a Platinum Edition to over $60k

I bet that thing is ridiculously heavy.

This calls for a parable:

Everyone just goes to the mall.

at that point you might as well just put in a cvt

I had the same feeling when I was in Dubai in January. It’s a surreal place. It’s like a spoiled lovechild between Las Vegas and Texas, but without any casinos, strip clubs or guns.

You make a good point. I definitely would love an auto-auto for the commute in the morning, but there is something very nice and meditation-like about driving back from work for me. This is probably the one single thing he could do to make me respect him.

What the... I thought the whole “Ferrari chooses YOU” system of LaFerrari sales was supposed to prevent this sort of thing!!!!!

Amsterdam is pretty awful at the moment because of construction. Plus the bathrooms suck and there are no drinking fountains.

no one has ever explained to me the point of capacitive touch buttons. You get all of the safety hazards of touch screens without any of the flexibility benefits. Plus it takes forever to rocker up from 60 degrees to 70 degrees on the AC. In my 97 miata it takes less than a second to go from full AC to full heat and I

Fisker Karma and Tesla Model S. TOUCH SKREENZ!! SO MODERN. COMPUTER SCIENCE MAJORS’ WET DREAM. But a safety nightmare because you have to take your eyes off the road to do ANYTHING. When you’re doing 70 in heavy traffic you have to risk your life just to turn down the heat. Especially when you’re wearing gloves! And

Renault Alpine

This may be true in the long term for urban area, private use vehicles, but it fails to account for the huge portion of the industry that is fleet vehicles and non-urban consumers.
