This is the way to get into aviation. I’m not suggesting every potential airline pilot starts a metal band but find a career you enjoy that pays well and use the money from that to fund your addiction.

This is surreal. Can you imagine - sitting at the goddamn dinner table eating something delicious while your old man rants about “That fuckin’ guy Enzo” and lays the groundwork for one of the greatest supercar companies in history ?

As for calling a locksmith who would be “obligated” to unlock the safe, I don’t believe the government can (or should be allowed to) force the locksmith to unlock the safe in that case either. Open the door a little and someone will put a herd of elephants through it. Sometimes protecting our liberty means bad people

Not sure what article you read, but it clearly wasn’t mine.

Call me jaded or whatever, but a V8 Vantage hardly qualifies as a “dream car” in my book. They’re not special enough to attract any kind of attention where I live, and it’s not like the car is so expensive as to be unattainable, which is, I think, crucial to being considered a “dream car.”

If they really wanted it, then nothing is a deterrent. If it is a relatively casual thief and your car has a minor inconvenience and the guy next door’s car has no inconvenience then guess who is buying new wheels (hint: not you).

There is still nothing like hearing an air-cooled flat-six spool up from a stoplight. My father owned a grape-purple (I believe it was called “Aubergine”) 74 911 and that sound is forever etched into my brain, and it is glorious.

Nah, I work Monday. I’ll just go use the heated seats in my 981 to help sooth the burn.

so you’re just a shithead then. got it.

I don’t know....I don’t think my 996 is too bad. But I don’t look at the headlights too often.

Read the history of Porsche and how it all started with the beetle.

BMW doing what they do best, fat, ugly, overly complicated maintenance nightmares.

The name makes my brain hurt.

I can’t wait for these to be on the used market in 5 years for about $18,000, and Enthusiast Auto will have a few for $75,000.

Explain to me some math on how a top fuel dragster engine produces more power than the turbofan engine (or as claimed, all 4 engines) found on the 747....

It’s a treat to see a natural lady for a change and not a human/silicon/collagen cyborg. Nice pick.

Same price point? Not quite. GM’s estimated price of $30k is AFTER incentives. Promises 200 miles.

That, and if battery swapping ever becomes a thing, nobody will want to own their own batteries (too risky on swapping out for a dud), they will want to lease a battery. Tesla is the logical company to do that.

Tesla has plenty of service centers, and they don't have dealerships. Dealerships are ripping you off. Direct sales is a far better option for consumers.
