You are absolutely right about how much used ones go for. I tried to help my sister find a used Wrangler around this time last year. She ended up buying a new 2015 2 door for cheaper than we could find any used pentastar powered model.

What’s the difference between a current year Jeep and one from the 80’s? Has the chassis evolved in any appreciable way? Can’t you get an old one pretty cheap, and with a few bucks spent sorting them out, be just a capable?
