I have never had any kind of fuel injection failure. Ever.
I have never had any kind of fuel injection failure. Ever.
I’d rather just not have to fix it in the first place.

This is the same governor that has the Texas Guard on high alert to monitor the US military to make sure Obama isn’t trying to take over Texas...
Your sweeping stereotype makes me think your last name is Trump.
Isn’t that what I said? Thus my initial response still holds true - you care too much about what other people think about you and you broadly stereotyped 90% of the luxury segment.
Can you please delete all the comments that say neither and/or list some other option? Clearly that’s not what the question is looking for; if it was, it would have been a more inclusive question, or open ended. I don’t get why people feel the need to come in here and start bringing other cars into it. Us readers are…
To El-Verde’s wife:
If you’re willing to pay $20-$30k over stick you can get one. That’s what people are throwing down for the GT4 these days.
I went through a similar decison making process years ago, and decided on a modestly equipped C6 Z51 over a new (and more lightly equipped, yet somewhat more expensive) Porsche Cayman S.
Smoother lines, doesn’t try to be all macho aggressive, no fake carbon fiber plastic crap, and it looks more organized. I just like how clean it looks, it’s not beating you over the head with the fact that it’s a sports car. The Corvette is just typical American car design- gaudy, overdone, and probably has plenty of…
Sounds like you care a little too much about what people think of you and not quite enough about how the car feels to drive.
As opposed to when people see a Corvette and think, “oh, look, another mid-life crisis trying to compensate for something.
Or when people see a Miata and say, “I wonder if she’s cute,” or, “I guess he couldn’t afford a grown-up car.”
Point being, I wouldn’t put too much stock into what other people’s stereotype is of…
If part of your decision is driven by your wish to be unique, you probably won’t enjoy your decision. The base 911 is simply an INCREDIBLE daily driver, which is how you’d be using it 95% of the time. The fully loaded Corvette will feel superior 5% of the time when you approach the limits of these cars.
Overly defensive and douchey bragging at the same time? Check.
If you buy your car based solely on what other people think of you, you’re buying it for the wrong reasons. Forget what people think and just buy what you actually want.
