Pro tip: Journalists don’t buy used Porsches to maximize the number of amusing articles they can write about how often the car turns on its “Check Engine” light, breaks down, catches on fire, or otherwise leaves them stranded at the side of the road.

Sounds like you have a dog in the fight. I don’t, so we’ll just have to agree to disagree.

Musk: “Excuse me, I can’t hear you over the sound of this extremely loud ROCKET engine I’m testing.”

It wouldn’t exist without his influence. Barra, on the other hand, may be a capable leader (I don’t know), but she certainly isn’t irreplaceable.

Agreed, those doors are idiotic.

Sigh, there’s always one in every thread.

Even 6-cylinder ones. Prices have gone through the roof on those lately.

+1. Classic Steve Jobs language.

Difference is, Mary Barra really didn’t “build that.”

Thanks Osama

Yep, my 981 and 968 both came from the same ex-Karmann plant in Osnabrueck. (What a difference in quality 20 years made, though...)

MSRP of 968 (1992): US $40K stripper -$55K loaded. Real-world prices were subject to heavy dealer discounting because the cars weren’t budging. (My ‘92 cab had a $55K sticker but sold for $45.)

That “heritage” didn’t sell the 968, and it won’t sell this one, either.

Man, can you imagine how good this car would look if its beltline were just an inch or two lower?

Regardless, class warfare doesn’t win elections in America. It doesn’t even sell newspapers anymore. It’s silly and naive to think that Sanders has a serious chance at being elected President.

Sanders is a self-described socialist who has advocated raising taxes on what’s left of the middle class.

*No point in cannibalizing one for the other, thats bad business practice.*

You’d never meet modern emissions standards with a rotary of any sort. It’s dead, Jim. Sic transit gloria mundi, stick a fork in it, that dog don’t hunt anymore.

Yes. Isn’t it awesome?
