Although both readings are possible (especially since it sounds an awful lot like the word after "vous" starts with an "m"), I think that the shooting was a mixing of Archer's memory (of the nun who cared for him in a makeshift hospital) and what was currently happening (Vandertunt was shooting his gun).

The nun in Archer's flashback said "Calm down. You're not in danger anymore." ("Calmez vous. Vous n'etes plus en danger".)
