Yep. That’s why government exists. It’s called “The Tragedy of the Commons” The libertarians don’t get it, because if they’re wealthy, they can just buy it and if they’re poor they’re to stupid.
The anti-federalism has to stop. I don’t know how the right can actually proffer the “local is more efficient” line with a straight face. The only reason this is going on is because the Koch brothers have been so good at buying localities.
