I recall NHL ref’s Paul Stewart and Kevin Maguire could handle themselves on the ice as players, both with decent fight cards.

Why do cars in movies and tv shows have no headrests?
Wow, this looks fantastic! I’m going to try this on my Fiat 500
I bought a car in Wakayama, Japan (a ‘91 Figaro) and shipped it to New England where I live now. I guess about 7,000 miles. But I was in Japan for other reasons, not specifically to buy a used car.
“Shutter” and “Southern Bastards”
The little yellow 126 also made it! It’s amazing that a 126 can still haul ass like that.
My 500...as Nick Mason once said on Top Gear, only 4 things can go wrong in a 500 since there are only 4 things on a 500. I’ve never owned a 70's Volkswagen, but I get the sense that the experience is very similar.
I love these track battle video’s from Japan. My favorite has to be the battle of the “Daihatsu Mizet II”:
I agree...most Alpha’s already look like they are ready to be launched into outer space.
I think the OTAS 820 had a center speedo. I’ve never seen one in person, but read that it was difficult to read. The gauges seems to be positioned really low; maybe having up a bit higher makes a difference?
My car is 2 years shy of 50 and I agree, it’s been very easy to keep running. My main concern is safety. I’ll certainly be killed if I get in any accident, but it’ll probably be easy to repair the car.
Me too. There must be something on fire that will ignite the fuel in the fuel line and eventually lead to the gas tank, conveniently located right behind the steering wheel, going up in flames. Brake failure is a close second.
As a transgender person I’m uncomfortable around non-LGBTQ people.
If I recall correctly, the first mod I ever made to my car was wiper pantographs. It made perfect sense at the time. I’m pretty sure I have photos of it.
Apologies if this was already mentioned, whoever chose this as their car deserves a star (fender mirrors too!). Looks fantastic in the show.
Yes, done mostly due to the fact that my car is difficult to stop at higher speeds. Each of the drums are the size of a breakfast pancake so I leave it in lower gears when there’s very little space to stop.
Biggest has to be chagning my engine from a 499 to 595cc, which is a common upgrade. This isn’t a real Abarth engine, I left most of the original 110F engine and installed the 595 cylinder kit, head, valves, and carb. The stock 499cc engine can get the car up to about 70kph, but it could get about 100kph.
I realize it’s a personality flaw in my part, I certainly admit I don’t know everything about my car.
I stopped going to cars and coffee and other such events as I was constantly told whatever I do to my car wasn’t done correctly, not neccarry, or generally made no sense. Not sure if my gender had anything to do with it, but I was certainly the only female and minority at these events. It came to a point where I…
My engine bay. I have a 70's car and I find it very easy to fix; I can perform most engine maintenance tasks without jacking the car up. I know very little about cars, having owned only 1 car, but I was told it was designed so that basic repairs can be done by anyone. I do agree it’s not always fun dealing with drum…
