Yeah I reacted the same way when I read that. It’s like that stupid phrase when children have died in a tragedy: “needless death of children”, as opposed to the kids that “need” to be killed. Smh.
Honestly, right? This sentimental and primitive obsession with preserving a dead body needs to die (sorry). I think we can say with fairly good certainty that they don’t need it anymore.
Good.
So, that’s truly impressive Photoshop skills to get rid of the ugly crane. But, um... aside from the historic nature of that particular building... it’s kind of ugly too.
Yeah, lets apply that ridiculous logic to all laws. I mean why not? Murderers are just going to ignore laws against killing so we shouldn’t bother passing them. Same with thieves. They’re just going to steal no matter what kind of regulations and laws you pass.
Well thought and written.
This could take more than a few months to get underway if Pai tries to throw obstacles. Maybe as long as nine months. That would be a long time for the world to turn upside down and maybe change.
I’ve known people like Pai my entire life. He’s a scammer that’s always cheating to get his way. Can’t wait for the little creep to get his ass handed to him when it’s revealed how much of a third rate con he’s running.
Ok
Rogue one can get away with the idea that it’s those doing the ugly things that make it possible for others to have the luxury of morality. Star Trek shouldn’t because that idea has always been anathema to it.
I don’t completely agree with what you believe the show is doing but I absolutely love your perspective on what the writers are trying to accomplish. If that’s truly the goal of this shows stories then no one will be happier than me. I genuinely hope you’re right.
I understand why you’re disappointed and I believe your conclusion is accurate but I have to question why you’re surprised.
Oh please. It’s a workable timeline with just a tiny bit of imagination. This is just an excuse to grouse. Feel free to point out a franchise that even remotely comes close to the complex timeline Marvel is handling. Of course it could have been better thought out and it’s pretty obvious they’re aware of avoiding…
There’s few games that aren’t fps where the minuscule lag makes any real difference.
I’ve never met anyone that didn’t immediately see the difference.
Dear God, if I could get an infinity symbol on my keyboard to express how many times I upvote this I would. It’s just a terrible effect on movies it wasn’t intended for.
God, so many troglodytes here. In the full interview he even acknowledges the tech doesn’t exist yet. He’s making a larger point about not thinking in terms of solving or using problems in creative ways. Only an idiot would have thought he meant we could do that now. It was an “example” of being proactive instead of…
Yep, you nailed it. Even on here most of these goons don’t get the point he was making about mindsets and the way we look at problems. Always reactive.
Thank you!
