Yeah, after spending 32 years of my life in a lovely EE city, I’d probably cross the street to avoid this guy at night, lol. HE USED TO BE SO CUTE, HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN

He looks awful, that’s what. The Eastern European thug look is terrible for him
Hey... you call it “manic button mashing”, I call it “tactical continuous stunlock”. *ahem*
The Blade is friggin’ awesome. Hitting L2 (I think it was L2? Fuck, it’s been a while) while in dual wield mode will do a cross-slash attack that should stagger any non-heavy enemy while your Hunter hops backwards. It’s a fantastic combo finisher and it allows you to put some distance between you and your enemy to…
Hm... my interpretation is that she thinks I’m blood-drunk by default, unless I help her with the other hunter at Gascoigne’s lamp? Fuck knows with FromSoft plotlines, lol.
I know that feel man. I did the exact same thing on my first playthrough. Eileen how could you?!
Yeah seriously, fuck this “it’s only cosmetics!” bullshit... are we seriously pretending that most gamers don’t value cool skins for their characters? (Fuck Blizz and their lootboxes too, I will *never* pay for a microtransaction as long as they don’t give me a reliable way to buy what I want...)
Oh god, the outer parts of Mensis... I fucking hate that place. That and Yahar’gul are probably the worst parts of the game. Don’t forget about the DLC though, it’s fucking amazing and defeating the final boss of the base game will throw you into NG+ automatically. Make sure to access it before that happens!
Man, I really envy his courage.
I usually use two different weapons on a playthrough - my first one was the saw cleaver and uhhhh I don’t want to spoil anything, basically a big-ass heavy sword when I needed to stagger enemies. I’ve found that having two weapons works wonderfully - you get to upgrade both to the maximum (I’m assuming you have the…
Yeah, I’m kinda curious too and I hope Kotaku will do an article about it... how on Earth is killing a bunch of random people on an island positive in any way?
Um, what? No. Just slap an age restriction on violent content and let me decide what I want to play if I’m over 18.
Man, Gascoigne is one of those bosses where I don’t even know what attacks or tells he has... “dodge towards his back and hit him twice with the saw cleaver/starter weapon of choice, do it again” worked on all my playthroughs and I’m a lazy shit.
The backstab is so worth it though. Especially when it turns anal. You’ll know what I mean, just try to backstab any unaware enemies you find, it’s seriously worth it Make sure to walk slowly instead of running before you do it, though!
Ain’t that the truth. I had no serious issues with Ludwig or Gascoigne but the One Reborn made me summon on my first playthrough because I had absolutely no idea what I was supposed to do about it and I just wanted to be out of Yahar’gul (fuck that place).
The tombstones can go fuck themselves, seriously. I’ve been fighting him on the stairs ever since I found out I could.
I managed to get Gascoigne on my second attempt without even realising that parrying is a thing in Bloodborne - I still have no idea how the fuck that happened. Don’t think I ever parried him on my later playthroughs either. I only found out you can parry when some, erm, late game humanoid bosses completely wrecked my…
Hahaha, if only. I just happen to live in Bumfuckland, Eastern Europe and I make zero money compared to most Westerners. The envy is real
Unfortunately I don’t like most indie games - I really enjoy beautiful/realistic vidya graphics and that’s where indie games tend to fail the most. (Also gimmicky gameplay, but let’s not go there.) I know games with retro/stylised art have a huge audience but they’re just not for me. I usually avoid buying AAA titles…
Aw man, 100 USD/game is more than 1/10th of what I make in one month... I know they have to make a living somehow, but that makes me wince.
