I didn't say it was her fault, I'm saying praise is often accompanied by criticism.

Female is so de-humanzing. You never see people refer to men as "males".

IA but if you get people calling your show a cultural touchstone, don't be surprised if others ask why when the country is so diverse, are touchstones still white and wealthy.

I think she gets a lot of shit because all the marketing around this show emphasized how she was young and in control of the content. It's groundbreaking for a young writer to have so much creative control but then people saw the content and it was the same type of stories that have been/are told when old white dudes

Ignorance is bliss.

And should we shame a young woman for displaying a sense of innocence as she navigates through the murky waters of love, heartbreak, and fame?

He's the WORST. Ugh.

There's a huge difference between "It's never occurred to me to date girls outside of what I've been drawn to in the past." versus "I have a David Duke dick."

We already pay a ton for healthcare due to a ton of people not having coverage so ultimately universal coverage with preventative care SHOULD held healthcare costs go down.

"Jennifer Aniston is the new face ("and body!!!11") of Aveeno."

Just because it's not the norm doesn't mean that it's dangerous to pair women up with male chaperones because if a woman is going to be assaulted, it's most likely to be by someone she knows (e.g. a chaperone).

Because women are NEVER assaulted by a man they know!

It's weak to me because he's not walking the walk. If he really, really feels he didn't earn his law degree, he should've attempted to go get a new one. Instead he pisses on something he benefited from and wants to make it so that no one else gets the playing field leveled for them. That's weak. If he couldn't focus

"Are there any other suggestions besides "be a different person" or "hand her show over to different writers"?"

In my experience, I've often found black guys who say "Black girls just aren't into me" aren't into Black girls and deflect that by saying "It's not me, it's THEM." Like, really, stereotype all of us a little more please and we won't be into you.
