We live in a world where people don’t understand what “facts” means... There’s a scene on Big Bang Theory, where Sheldon said something is a fact, and his mother said, “and that is your opinion”. It’s a funny scene, but at the same time, I’ve known a LOT of people who have that reaction in real life.

My apartment is 2bdrm and barely over 600 sq ft. The living room and kitchen and the bedrooms are all about somewhere between 10 x 12 and 12 x 14. Plenty big enough for a queen size bed, dresser, side table, and comfortable walking space. The bathroom is small though, and shower only.

I hate to say it, but... :-(

Wait until they get the full statistics for this year. The Trump campaign has definitely been pushing prejudice of all forms to critical mass.

Or go at this from the other direction and make it illegal for your boss to decide what kind of employee/person you are based on a shitty google search.

Does International Lego Day mean that the buckets of Legos will drop below $100? If so, I am so down for a “Rosie Posey’s kid” write in!

I’ve been trying to find an e-book that actually lets me stay focused on it. I LOVE the idea. Thousands of books in the size of a small tablet? Sign me up! However, once I start reading on one(so far a Sony, a Nook, and a Kindle), I get a couple pages along and I just can’t keep focus. On a paperback I read entire

I definitely believe that language evolves with time, as it should. However, I still do my best to use English correctly to the best of my own understanding, and I expect the same from others.

Introducing the all-new Toyota TRD. The only thing missing is U!

Funny note: I knew a guy who drove all over the city looking for a funnel that would fit into the oil dipstick tube. As far as we could figure, he knew that trans fluid goes into the dipstick tube, and just assumed that oil was the same way.

As a poor, the idea that spotty produce would be a problem seems like SUCH a rich person problem.

The Romani are an ethnic group, so there’s that.

Yes, gypsies do still exist, all over the world. These days, they are known as Roma, or the Romani, specifically because the term gypsy was so commonly used derisively.

Never thought of scorching milk as a problem. Low heat, steady stirring. Easy peasy

The Weeping Angels may as well have been in technicolor in every showing after Blink anyway.

Completely in agreement with this entire statement. It’s the weaving in and out of traffic that is dangerous.

No, after 40 miles you get impatient, and that’s when accidents happen. Although, the slow driver that keeps you actually STUCK behind him for that long is an asshole that should go die in a fire.

Almost invariably the flow of traffic is 5mph OVER the established speed limit. If you are going faster than that, you are the asshole. I’ve said before, the left lane should be a passing lane, but if you are needing to pass EVERYONE(which is what you are doing by weaving in and out of traffic), YOU are the one in the

Yep, this right here... In my state, it’s kind of an unspoken thing that outside city limits you can legally go 5mph over the speed limit. Which, is wrong, but police seem to agree with it. The general rationale is that less than 5mph over, the ticket cost wouldn’t be worth their time and energy.

While I do agree that slower drivers should stay to the right, it should also be noted that drivers who weave in and out of traffic are equally huge assholes. Frankly, THAT guy is the cause of the accident. Follow the flow of traffic, wait for the opportunity to go around the slow driver and THEN move on. The accident
