I see enough loaded teslas (among other fancy Evs) around to believe many rich people see an upside in it for themselves.

So would they rather have the factory elsewhere, probably with less strong environmental protections, and then ship the cars over, creating even more pollution? Make it make sense.
Honestly I wish it was lower than that. Rich and upper middle class people can already afford an EV if they want one. Let’s incentivize legitimately affordable electric cars!
Most US made cars switched to metric fasteners. Not a bad idea in theory, but now everyone has to buy twice as many wrenches and sockets since SAE fasteners are still around. Usually you don’t “switch”, you just get an awkward hodgepodge of both standards.
Rich man’s penis enhancers are big buisiness, in case you haven’t noticed.
The last thing anyone needs in their life is another fucking rental or better yet subscription.
Assuming you have a garage, which is far from universal.
Yeah, for a family of 5+ I could see the van but growing up my family of 4 had nothing but compact cars. (US)
Wow, you’re a real piece of shit.
From what I recall of the recession, everybody was more worried about filling their own tank than chuckling at hummer ownets but ok.

Allow me to assure you it's not boring. I took my 2001 Mazda b2300 to 95 there and it was probably the most fun I've had in that truck. Really cool place in general too.
My parents bought a house in denver for 150k in 1998. It is now worth 500k on a good day. Regular house in a decent neighborhood. Denver is a somewhat expensive market. No idea what you’re talking about.
My dad bought a 2017 sedan. He hates hatchbacks and the sedan was cheaper. At least he didn’t buy a corolla which he probably would have.
I think I saw it twitch, beat it harder!
