I was hesitant to download the FAR patch, I just figured it would get patched. I even thought the base game was meant to mimic PS2 games. I downloaded FAR just to see what it was all about, and I will never go back. I was really surprised at how much I’ve enjoyed the game and hope Square Enix pushes a patch soon…

Congratulations! I was running Bootcamp on my now nearly 5 year old 15" Macbook Pro and somehow burnt out the graphics card (had to send it in and get the entire motherboard replaced, luckily still had Apple Care). Built a desktop rig last summer (about the size of a small space heater) and only use my Mac for work.

I thought the CG was pretty amazing from a technical standpoint, the level of detail was pretty amazing. That being said both characters(?) fell right into the uncanny valley in a way that aliens and other CGI characters in other films don’t. It very well could be that it’s virtually impossible to have “lifelike” CGI…
