Hybrid tech doesn’t really pencil out short term either for suburban commuters, but they are sold by the boat load.
Yes. You nailed it. Former tow-trucker operator here. When putting abandoneds or repos on the hook, the goal is to get out of there as quickly as humanly possible. The measly $250 or so per repo is not worth getting shot at, stabbed, or beaten by a meth-addled deadbeat or her baby daddy.
There is no shortage of stupid people, in FL or CA. I am quite conflicted trying to determine who is least intellectually able—the wrecker driver or the idiot who jumped atop the wrecker.
Only real San Franciscans remember to curb their wheels properly. Well done.
Will lesbians love this Jeep as much as Wrangler? My money is on yes—what could be more butch than a Jeep truck?
“We’re all Latino, we’re brothers,”
Mid aughts Chevy “Classic.” One of GM’s deadly sins. A car so bland, and without even a modicum of quality, that not even Chevy dealers wanted to stock it...so it was fleet only. A krappy car, rented to Krappy, low budget business travelers, who dropped their krappy greasy fast-food french fries under the seat, and…
Ah....youthful indescretion. Ain’t it grand? Glad the kids survived....ma and pa would have been a tad disappointed had a foot slipped....
Beyond standards, where will all of the electricity for this new fleet of battery cars come from. My home State of California has not approved construction of a new electricity generating plant for two generations—-citing “Envirnonmental” concerns...infact, a few have gone offline...meaning CA has less power…
The concept of swappable battery packs is not new. It would require a number of standardizations...which so far, have not been established—such as physical size, voltage, mounting system, ventilation provisions, etc.
I live in SoCal and have seen that very same car in the wild...on Topanga near the 101. It’s worse in person...though the GM V8 sounds great.
I am on my third Mazda. You are making a good choice.
I didn’t vote FOR Trump—-I voted AGAINST a pathetically horrible DEM party candidate named Hillary Clinton. I would do the same thing again in a heartbeat.
Teresa: I admire your work daily.....every time I get in my new M6. Thank you!
I have gradually been reaching the conclusion that, as a group, Japanese are the most ardent automotive enthusiasts in the world.
Makes me wonder why there is a market for such expensive cars. They are entirely unjustifiable in an objective sense. Private aircraft are too....and yachts....yet they are built, they are sold, and they are enjoyed. Just because my limited means make such cars seem ridiculous, doesn’t mean other, more wealthy…
Allowing politics to effect your relationship with family is your problem, not President Trump’s.
So glad I am not the first person to notice this. Have you noticed the third man, Good Taste, went with them?
