I’m sorry, I don’t believe in consulting a crystal ball. It may or it may not. If it doesn’t...that’s wonderful. But in the real world we need to be prepared for situations that we don’t want to happen.
This is an extremely dangerous situation with the potential of setting off a strategic cascade that either places us at war with Russia (through a declaration of Article V) or renders what is left of NATO completely impotent (if a Russian retaliation is ignored/accepted). What is particularly maddening about this…
