Now playing

While I would normally agree with the sarcastic take on things...

I think JRPGs are hard to justify playing over the age of, oh, 23 at the oldest? They don’t respect your time at all and they’re all composed of the same tropes. A hard sell if you’re not already a fan of the genre.

South Park is something I enjoy.

I was wondering what they were going to do about the election episode seeing as how nobody was expecting Trump to win. The Obama (first term) election episode is one of my favorites ever. I remember reading an interview where they said they really didn’t have much of a plan on how to alter the episide had Obama lost.

I still love that type of kid! The trick is to teach them it’s ok to like scary things but teach them it’s important to understand that other kids may not like or be ready for that.

There is a scene from last season where Nathan who has Down Syndrome stammers to his mom about being helpless. It struck such a cord with me that I literally laugh cried. My daughter does the exact same thing so similarly that I would be shocked if they hadn’t researched it enough to nail the tone.

I hated this episode, but I think that’s the point.

Not sure if you watched this season but it has been very good. I think if you do they pretty much nail the underlying theme of why Trump is so popular. Member berries anyone?

It is technically possible but then we’re stuck with the vice president, which in this case, might be worse.

I’m sorry but if this movie doesn’t star Ron Perlman and Linda Hamilton, then it’s not Beauty & The Beast.

I was bullied mercilessly in school. It was...awful. I’m so glad that I was pretty much done with school before social media was a thing, or else I probably would’ve been in a similar situation. The worst that happened online is a guy from school spent the summer chatting with me on AIM and then turned out it was a

Wait, Ash’s mom has a name?! And it’s not “Ash’s Mom”?

Laurie says, “Being in love with a woman had a very strong sense of ‘this is right,’ and there was so much good in that relationship. So the impression “this is wrong” was difficult to believe, much less act upon. Really, what felt right was wrong, and what felt wrong was right. At times the conflict would rage, and

Nothing past Neil Patrick Harris. If you hit Rip Taylor you’ve gone too far.

DCAU, where Harley started, is, for me, where Harley ended.

I have to disagree. While it’s true that Harley’s obsessed with the Joker, there’s a good reason for that. She’s obviously cute when she’s crazy and head-over-heels in love with the Joker, but underlying all of that is that she’s not well. Her feelings are due to the Joker’s endless psychological manipulation of her.

The current teams writing Joker and Harley have been pretty bad, and missing the point for years: their “relationship,” such as it is, is never over. That’s where the comedy and tragedy of it ring truest. And I don’t know who that is up there, but that isn’t the Joker. He’s some half-baked caricature of an abusive
