As a buyer shopping for a replacement to my Diesel-gate JSW; I can’t imagine I’ll stick with VW. Like you said, dealers seem to have zero interest in retaining owners, there’s nothing in the way of rebates (unless you want a Passat or Jetta), and the residual is killing lease potential.
