Comic Book Shops. =)

Dude, I just thought of this: what if the entire Ultron plot was contained to Stark Tower and played out more or less in real time? You have all these powerful heroes in lockdown trying to contain him from accessing the outside world, but he keeps shifting to and making new robot bodies based off Tony’s armor and even

Counterpoint: seasons three and four of Sherlock. When franchises decide that all their fans want is banter and character work, everyone suffers.

Yeah, IM2 is aggressively, obnoxiously, in-your-face bad.

I agree, Ian McDiarmid is pretty hot.

I was listening to the Blank Check Patreon commentary for this movie last week (reeeeeal nerdy shit), and they were commenting how this scene was shown at ComiCon, and it seems like this badass “come and get me” moment. But in the context of the movie, it’s a freaking meltdown. He breaks someone’s phone and nearly

I feel like the “THEY TOTALLY IGNORED IM3!!!” crowd skips the farm scene on every rewatch of AoU, because there’s not enough splosions.

Or, y’know, it’s the wood-chopping scene, where Tony explicitly says “We fight so we can end the fight, so we can go home.”

I always felt it was a movie with a ratio of 4 good scenes to 3 bad ones.  It comes out in the black, but there’s a lot of crap to slog through.

If they had one here, I’d eat that shit for drunk food all the damn time. When my fiance lived in Houston for a year, for her internship, we’d go there after drinking shenanigans all the time. Love that place.

What I love about Waid’s Cap is how he balances his earnestness with the rest of him.

It’s probably too much of a downer and weird ending for the mass appeal movie they are trying to build.

Millar aside, comics Cap has always been a sensitive liberal hero who hates blind jingoism, long before Brubaker, Kirby, Gruenwald, Roger Stern, JM DeMatteis all portrayed him that way in the 60s thru 10s.

He’s 1A for me.

“The strong protect the weak.”

Aside from Vietnam and WWII, the French have been badass when it came to fighting wars. I think we dunk on France because in our hearts, we recognize we’d have no country (USA), if not for them.

Now playing

Of all the hot sauces out there, the most under-used (at least, given the idiots who do these fucking stupid hot sauce challenges) is Thai sweet chilli sauce. Most commercial sweet chilli sauce is relatively mild, but I learned, years and years ago, that you can make it as hot or as mild as you want and you can change

(jk lol ... I agree wholeheartedly)

Yep, that was exactly my fear in the original post. Potatoes and creamed corn were the only non-meat/bread/milk items I ended up eating in school those years.
