As long as I have your attention when it is warranted, I couldn’t care less if there is something in your ear. Just because you have it in, doesn’t mean you have it on. If there is any indication that your attention is elsewhere (music, phone call), then you are the asshole.

okay, but for real having hearing aids that look like bluetooth headphones/airpods is a really, really dumb idea for this exact reason. Wearing headphones/ear buds will immediately make people think you aren’t listening to them or can’t hear them.

I’ve never had a personally bad karaoke experience. I’ve definitely caused bad experiences for people, though.

Well, alright then.

The literal definition of oblivion, from Merriam Webster:

The Good Place people are already employed in the testing system. It’s one Good Place architect and one Bad Place architect.

The Good Place writing crew were right. People really hate moral philosophy professors

They make it very clear that they don’t know what happens when you walk through the final door.

It’s like playing god mode on a video game.

I mean, Michael’s idea, a mindwipe, is by definition oblivion.

Capitalism is getting real fucking weird

This was an all around good episode, Jason’s “I’ve read some books, geez” was great

Okay, you are aggressively misreading what I’m saying.

I said straight up, pretty early on, that she could be stupid. Here’s my third comment in this discussion:
