Yeah, but that is because he is part of Janet

Janet builds the place, but it’s not entirely dependent on her

There was still one error. Bad Janet shouldn’t have her powers in the Medium Place. No Janet has powers in the Medium Place, the judge just granted an exception to our Janet.

Eh. Sometimes, when you write a thing personally, it’s hard to see past your own personal motivations and thought processes.

Not to be confused with the Michelangelo of Mozzarella, this guy:

You might be right. It’s hard to say one way or another in a lot of situations, though. And I try to give benefit of the doubt.

Isn’t the...uh...the point of the Killing Joke direction that it doesn’t give him one “true” version? And that something like this tries to?

Yeah, that’s kind of what I meant by “there are exceptions”

Gochujang is great!

I guess I just disagree with the idea that a person with all their filters removed is their “true nature”.

I don’t think that’s entirely fair.
Yes, those thoughts were likely there to begin with, but that’s more conditioning than character, I’d say. There’s something to be said for someone who has bad thoughts, recognizes them, and shuts them down.

Sounds like it might be a language gap, then. “backslide”, in my world, has always meant “starting to fall back into bad habits”

I actually don’t care for the term “relapse”, as it, I think, implies “back to square one”, which isn’t necessarily true (and personally, I think the abstinence only treatment of alcohol abuse in the US does more harm than good)

“The Hunt”? the 2012 film that made like 18 million dollars?

Glad to see you’re focusing on the important things here, Klep.

It was actually pretty great.

Plenty of offensive comedians are still working though?

There’s a difference between blaming a movie/video game/whatever for violent actions taken by people and acknowledging that a product is made that would attract those violent people.

Yeah...I mean, I imagine a lot of bar owners would think that hiring a recovered alcoholic is a liability. Especially because addicts often backslide.

This feels like a bar specific question, honestly. Like I’ve been to bars where there is kind of a “bartender drinks with the customers” vibe and I’ve been to bars where that is 100% not expected at all.
