The best thing about bacon is its versatility. It can be a standalone meat, but you can add it to so many other meals and it just fits in there.
He...uh...didn’t? He made a joke to another person and she overheard it.
Uh...yeah. That’s what the guy was basically doing. Unless you’re getting this upset that he said “the government should” instead of “the government must!”
Um...the point of government is to enact the will of the people.
Or one that makes it illegal to sell more seats than you can use?? Crazy idea, right? Not being able to sell a product that you don’t have?
Um yeah, there’s a big difference between murder and making a joke that wasn’t even directed at the attendant.
I have sympathy that she was having a rough day. I also have sympathy that everyone else was having a rough day.
Oh god I think I might have to abstain from voting. I don’t know that I could vote against ramen, pho, or carbonara in any situation in life.
Yeah, looking for “healthy” in instant ramen just seems like a lost battle.
I mean, yeah, there’s some comic book silliness. Of course there is.
“half the population died for five years and came back...you’ve missed out on five years”
Well, last thing Ned saw was Peter going off to face an alien invasion. Even if he saw him a week later, it would have been an emotional moment, Peter could have died outside of the snap very easily.
I mean...they got snapped? It’s a pretty simple answer.
Look, I’m done with this conversation because you and I clearly disagree on what is “real”. A guy wanting to attack the person who he just found out murdered his girlfriend is real. It just is. I think you’d be hard pressed to find another human being that agrees with you that it isn’t.
But Infinity War WAS a middle story? We already had the beginning, Endgame was largely “the end” for some of the characters. They aren’t ready to end the Guardians yet.
No, it’s an important distinction.
But his illusions aren’t powers. They’re special effects. If you give him ACTUAL illusion powers, like Loki or something, that takes away a lot of the fun of the character.
But...you’re still 1) giving him powers, which takes the fun out of all of it...Mysterio’s illusions require planning, that’s difficult when you’re a reactive hero.
And it’s a dumb idea that we can’t use the character established in GotG or GotG 2 anyway. The movie is a sequel. Sequels don’t have to reestablish all aspects of characterization every time. They’re allowed to operate on the assumption that you’ve seen the previous films.
