Audience reviews without any kind of proof of purchase are bullshit. And even with proof of purchase, it’s an inherently skewed metric...oh, you liked a movie that you went out of your way and spent money to see? Shocking.

Dude, you’re doing literally the exact same thing.

You made a comment. I responded. Why this suddenly means I’m out of control is beyond me.

No, you didn’t say that vegans deserve to be punched in the face. You did, however, make a bigger deal out of a person mentioning their diet than you did about threats of assault.

Not really, no. People mention their diets all the time.

“You should be beat up for your personal choices” is obviously trying to pressure people into making different choices.

And her mentioning she is vegan in a conversation about nutrition somehow warrants threats of being punched in the face. You realize how fucking stupid that sounds, right?

Um...I know you’re being sarcastic but...when it comes to someone’s personal diet that doesn’t affect me in any way...me? Why the hell would I care why someone decides to stop eating meat? How does that affect me in any way? How does it affect their actions in any way?

Okay, let’s have a tiny rephrasing:

Seriously, look at the comments for this very article. See how many suggest vegans are shitty and deserve to be hit. Compare that to how many vegans you see calling for violence against omnivores...or hell, even trying to push someone into veganism.

“I don’t think we should punch all vegans, just the ones that react negatively to threats of being punched”

“I need a loan for a degree in nutrition”

Not really, no.

Yeah, no matter what you do, there’s some unethical shit. That’s just how capitalism works. But people can try to minimize stuff. There’s nothing wrong with that.

Yeah, that person was a moron, they exist. But they’re in the minority.

Oh, there are definitely pushy, shitty vegans...but honestly, percentage wise, I feel like there are more shitty omnivores. Like...about 1/10 people is vegetarian or vegan, but I think I see more than 10x shitty omnivores than I see shitty vegans.

I don’t think my comment posted, if so, sorry about the double post but...

Nothing self righteous at all you here, not at all.

Well, that’s...kinda dumb. You can’t know why a person is doing something. But they’re doing it. You might think it’s to stay in on a “fad” or something, but that’s just baseless speculation.

So? I mean, even if you’re right, does it matter why the person chooses to do it?
