I can’t get on board with saying Pence is a better option. Trump is awful and making the office of POTUS a mockery before he’s even ascended to the role. But he’s also erratic and inconsistent, meaning he clashes with Congress and will undermine their agenda (while not having a coherent agenda of his own).

Pence is an easier guy to beat in a presidential race so there’s that and we might actually take back the Senate and House in 2018 if Trump suddenly died from a health reason.
