Agreed, lag is still an issue. I’ve read an article written by someone who piloted a drone and they said it was a real bitch.

Simple fact is that people cannot be hacked or have their connection interrupted. Manned aircraft are also infinitely more aware and abstract thought is a lot easier when you are in the moment. We won’t see a reduction in manned aircraft, we will just see an increase in unmanned aircraft.

Can we just sideline the F-35 and skip straight to this? I’m sure it’s not that simple but I have definitely come around to your thinking on the the F-35.
