Blogging: A career where you can collect revenue by voicing the moral high-ground stance, while also collecting revenue through advertising the very thing you are against.

This “side loaded brakes” thing makes literally zero sense. In order for it to flex enough to cause THAT much drag the wheel bearing and hub would have had to been broken or this would happen anytime anybody gets a little sideways because the dyno is not “forcing” it to track straight any more than a road would be

it doesn’t sound like a particularly exciting V8" Tell me how an exciting V8 sound like? Your remark is stupid.

Don’t worry, I’m sure the buyers will be putting on some glasspacks or cherry bombs in no time.

I actually think it sounds quite nice. Given what we know about the engine, it stands to reason that it won’t sound like an untamed Detroit beast. To me, it sounds like a powerful, modern engine.

I want to know why Mazda thinks I would blow $44k on a CX5 instead of a Ram/Ford/Chevy 1500 diesel truck. Or a Highlander Hybrid. Or... Geez, almost anything else.

It almost doesn’t matter what version of the car they used, what non-stick aero, or what crazy near-track tires.

So highly modified Tesla racecar may have unofficially beat a Porsche production road car around the ring. Got it.

Loud pipes save lives is bullshit. The reality is loud pipes make you an asshole. You’re an asshole to quiet neighborhoods, to quiet country living, to others in traffic, loud pipes simply make you an asshole, it won’t save your life, or others.

I'm picturing you pushing up your glasses and adjusting your headlamp during this exchange.

This time, a Land Rover rep asked me what I was doing, and told me to stop, lest someone trip over me.

I feel like I’m getting too old and grumpy...but I look at someone trying to get a car designed to have 350 hp up to 1000 and think “ugh....why?”

As someone that tends not to be engrossed in nostalgia for an era he wasn’t even alive for, I like the new model. It seems that all everyone wants for their manly SUV is edges edges and more edges. This model has edges in the areas that matter (to maximize interior space) and has smoothness over the front for a bit

IT’S NEW SO I HATE IT

Seeing that click-bait ass thumbnail was enough for me to skip over the whole thing.

Porsche has been photographed running the Model S next to the Taycan since the very beginning.. pretty sure they know something Elon doesn’t.

Even if it’s in total ignorance of the Taycan’s achievements, and ultimately undercuts what’s supposed to be the point of the damn thing: letting go and trying something new.”

Turbo may be short for turbocharger, but that does not mean that the word “Turbo” = turbocharger. “Turbo” has long been used as a synonym for faster, better, more, etc.

I’m taking odds it’s officially “almost as tall as...but not there yet”
