Pffftttt. Is that even real gold or just some 14k alloy crap???

Just seems a little odd to tie so many variables to one, very specific tire. I mean, what if a customer wants to put a less aggressive tire on it and really daily it? What happens when you go even more sticky with an R comp? Both situation will probably be common. How will those perfect synergies be effected? I guess

Reading the comments on this entry are like reading the comments on a local news outlet article about bike lanes and taxes. Ug.

You know. You kinda of sound like a Porsche nerd.

Syncros are probably the next item behind the clutch in my experience. I feel like we’ve all had MTs with a bad syncro but you just deal with it.

Great Story!

Plus building for modern crash ratings is probably a huge pita for this segment.

I felt the same way, until I read it’s not a dual clutch. ZF 8 speed. Great gearbox, I dunno, I’d want a dual clutch in that segment, no matter how good the 8 speed it.

Lulz. Ok.

That soupy manual trans tho. Whew.

Was lucky enough to learn how to drive in one of these in mid nineties. Man, if felt like a race car. Used to steal it and do sketchy things that I won’t discuss. It kind of screwed me for life because the bar for how a car was supposed to feel, drive, and behave was based on that thing.

Those bumpers were way different in Euro land. They did what needed to do, to get it to the states, which we should be happy about. They had actual shock absorbers in them iirc, so they could literally take a 5mph hit and be good. I always embraced the exhaust thing because it was stranger than any other car at the

Fortunately it is way larger and seemingly slower than a clay pigeon. Won’t be in the sky long with other shot guns on the ground.

I didn’t miss the point. I think your point is exaggerated. Sample size of one, but my 3.0 VAG diesel has not had any issues or downtime at 113k miles. And it’s a VAG, lol. Anything can happen.

I suspect Uhaul has other reasons for not using diesel, like morons putting gasoline in them every week and not wanting to

DI gas injectors aren’t exactly cheap, plus you’ll need two more of them and spark plugs. Pretty broad statement to say that they fail with no warning. I’ve had gas engines do the same thing. Anything mechanical can fail suddenly. Not saying the 3.0 Diesel makes complete since, I just don’t think it’s as terrible as

A ton of truck guys. Apparently they think they should be able to hurl these things down the road at break neck speeds. I love the idea of a 3.0 Diesel.

You read the article, they are recalled because they are afraid of catastrophic failure prior to any of that “recall work”.

Yet all of the fake vents and intakes are still black :(

Your last paragraph seems a little ironic considering the entire topic of this article.

Shouldn’t these small Japanese engines run like Swiss clocks? Isn’t that the point? I’ve owned German cars for 20 years and have never dealt with issues like these. Tired of every talking a lot of crap about zeee Germans. No manufacturer is immune to stuff like this. My fiancé’s Impreza is recalled. She was in a hurry
