Why does this keep happening?! Are there really people out there who won’t buy old shows unless they fill their entire screen? Not only are people losing a good chunk of the show (they call it unnecessary, but I beg to differ), but a TON of work goes into deciding what can be chopped off on a near frame-by-frame…

Very much incorrect. In most of the world the internet is still soft-capped, throttled, expenny, or just plain slow,etc. So being able to pop the disc in and get a majority of the content that needs downloading is very valuable to a lot of gamers.

Recent PS4 games like FF7 Remake and Last of Us Part 2 shipped on 2 discs — a Data Installation disc and a Play disc. Not sure why they didn’t do that with the Xbox version of Control UE.

This is why I don’t like the idea of putting Xbone games and XSeX games on the same disc.

Except that’s not at all a judge’s responsibility. A judge is an umpire. Their job is to call balls and strikes, not make managerial decisions for one or both teams.
