If I was in the market, I’d avoid Oculus products altogether due to the Facebookening; why must one have a social media account to use a hardware peripheral?

I just bought one of these, from the page I linked, used it to hook up an SCPH-39001 PS2 (PS2, Sony component cable, Portta converter, HDMI cable, SGEYR HDMI switch, TV), and my TV correctly reported 480i60 at the PS2's system menu; so, if you’re getting 480p at your display, there’s something else going on that’s…

Yup. We’re boned.
This. Frankly, I think too few people have experienced ABS in action and aren’t prepared when the pedal starts pulsating, which freaks them out, leading to them letting off the brakes instead of keeping their foot planted. It really needs to be part of Driver’s Ed in the US, and, at least when I was learning to drive…
Just watched the teaser trailer on artofrally.com. I’ve soiled myself.
This is the model I was talking about; it doesn’t do any line-multiplication or scaling.

Nice, yes; but, unfortunately, analog video is obsolete, so you’re not going to see anything like that unless you design and fabricate it yourself (or pay someone else a ton of money to do it for you).

These are all fine examples of HDMI switchers that will add a few more ports, but what’s available with 8 or more inputs, has automatic switching, that plays well with the OSSC, ideally also plays well with consoles and devices that are too stupid to turn off their HDMI in rest mode, and isn’t obnoxiously expensive?

While it unfortunately has its output on the left-hand side, SGEYR’s 5x1 4K60 model is known to play well with the OSSC.

I would not spend that much on an emulator box. For half that, I could get a spare front loader, cap kit, and a NESRGB or a Hi-Def NES mod.
I would truly appreciate this if the NES case was designed to accommodate original NES inards, so one could play physical NES games with a LEGO NES.
Looks like they were recording a video, not taking a selfie.

Those plastic Home Depot shelves are garbage. I’ve had one for at least a year now, using it for food storage, and I’m not pleased. The shelves sag over time, even with less-dense items like pasta and cereal (as opposed to canned goods).

What does the software support look like? Do they ship monthly security updates, and on-time? So they provide recovery OTAs? A phone needs to have all of these, else it’s a nonstarter. You don’t need to spend a chunk of money (even if it’s only $80) only to find that you’ve bought an unsecure device with no support.

Does the PS5 still have that user-accessible expansion bay that’s supposed to take M.2 NVMe drives, like Polygon reported a few months back?
