Tesla model S weighs about 4,647 lbs (2,107 kgs). Model X weighs 5,421 lbs (2,458 kgs). Are we still talking about being insecure?
Given the insane variability for the F-Series, much less the Super Duties, I have no idea what the point here was.
They really hosed the specs here by giving single data points for vehicles that come in a range. The shortest F150 wheelbase is listed, but you can get one that’s 163 inches long. A Super Duty gets up to 176 inches.
You can buy a regular cab F-150 with an 8' bed — but you’ll probably never see one on the lot, you’d need to order it. It just isn’t want most people want these days (outside of some commercial use).
You know, just before this story broke, you got a lot of clicks by publishing the headline that “unions are inherently good” and, rightfully, took a lot of shit for it.
What the Hell are you talking about?
Hello. I’m a Republican. While moderate, I do have friends and acquaintances of all political affiliations, and to both extremes. With that said:

The UAW is one of the most corrupt unions
The “an” before a consonant sound breaks my brain every time. I’m seeking help from an therapist.
I’m not sure the lack of toll transponder interoperability and billing reciprocity between states really leads to that specific conclusion. So no, it likely doesn’t need to be said in this case.
How many mass produced aluminum cars are there? Except for certain premium or high performance cars, it’s a costly material to use for all-body construction.
I’ve owned some 180k+ mile Crown Vics, F150s, and a 250k mile Avalon. Snooze.
great example - the Ford GT that sold on BaT last week. the 27-mile, 2005 Ford GT would have cost somewhere around $165K when brand new (it had all four options). it sold for $395K - more than double the price they paid for it! not bad, right? who wouldn’t want to double their money on a car investment?
“After meeting Ellard at the dealership, authorities say the inventory in the back of the Explorer included an Aero Precision pistol with a “drop in auto-sear switch” inside — allowing the gun to fire multiple rounds with the pull of a trigger.”
The Fiesta and Focus were fine with a manual transmission (I even owned a Fiesta for a few years); they were lemons with the PowerShift automatic.
Actually, based on recent performance figures, the 2.7L Ecoboost F150 has consistently tested 0-60 in 5.7 seconds, the 3.5L Ecoboost on 91 octane will do 5.3 seconds.
