I used to think the chickenpox vaccine was pointless for kids. It doesn't cause them any harm to get sick (most kids. There are some with compromised immune systems that should get the vaccine because the illness could cause serious complications), and it's only there for about a week.

From my understanding, if you chose not to get vaccinated, you're basically destined to live in a bubble so you don't accidentally get infected yourself and don't accidentally infect anyone else.

This. The "don't answer calls from numbers you don't know" sounds good in theory, but what are the odds the person performing the Interview is going to call you from a number that isn't readily available to the public?

This. I hate it most when people are texting each other like crazy and their text tone keeps going off. If you know you're about to get into a back-and-forth conversation over text, why not just move your phone to vibrate? Or silent?

I don't know. I was the nosy type of kid. If my parents had any valuables to store, if they stored them in my room as a kid, they wouldn't be valuable for much longer.

I use my tablet and my desktop interchangeably as primary computers. The desktop is about a year old now (bought Valentine's day 2012) and the tablet is now about 3 months (bought Jan. 30th this year). I tend to use the tablet more than the desktop, but for anything that's too cumbersome to do on a tablet, I use the

I typically just use a Scotch Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge to get stubborn lids open. It allows you to get a more firm grip on the lid/jar. I learned this trick when I worked fast food.

I power cycle my tablet & phone about once a week or so. I try to leave them off for about 10 minutes only to clear out the temporary memory and have things run smoother.

Not just that, but email is really just an electronic version of a memo. Any older person I ask who took a typing class back in the 50s/60s knows what BCC/CC means off the top of their heads. It's taken me a couple of months to try & remember it because it hasn't been a big priority to learn it. (and saying that on

I, personally, like Pulse. I'm not sure if it's available online or if it's Phone/Tablet only, though.

This. That's exactly why I started using AdBlock. And when it comes to my phone/tablet, I could tolerate (barely, but I could) the ads being done over WiFi where I won't get charged.

You don't have to. That's what reality TV is for!

At some jobs, you can't really do that. If you take over part of your coworkers project, your coworker will get rep reprimanded for being "lazy" because they cannot finish on time, and eventually you will be reprimanded because you can't keep up with the work flow. It's all about balance.

This. When my cats get on my nerves, I tell them to go somewhere else. You can't do that to a kid.

I have the Droid Razor. The battery CAN be changed out, but it voids the warranty ;) Given that I am able to upgrade next August, I'm okay if the battery decides to become 100% dependent on being on a cable at all times. When I get a new phone, the old one is going to be used as a "House Phone"/game phone anyways

But if I can replace the phone very easily & cheaply every 20 months or so, do I really care about how to make a battery have a great charge for years and years and years?

Maybe not sexual, but perhaps regular harassment? I'm sorry, but if I have to ask you repeatedly who you are, that's obnoxious. Especially after you violated my privacy.

Hello Dick!

I got mine when I was 24. What's your point?

Anytime :) I like BeeCount better than County, personally. BeeCount lets me count more than 1 project at a time, and I think it'll even let you count both rows & stitches (though I haven't tried that yet).
