I'm really excited that promising advances are being made in this field. That being said, based on the looks of things in that video, I'd say that it has a long way to go before it competes with the general mobility of a plain old wheelchair. In terms of speed and maneuverability, anyway. I guess a wheelchair can't

@Corgyll: Do you remember the Beach Volleyball game that was in this same style?? My friend and I would play that for hours on end.

So yeah, even on those linked galleries I'm not seeing the lightbox-type-interface and when I click on the "download in high resolution" link they're definitely not high resolution. Is it broken already?

@hcho321: We rejoice that our phone isn't as long as a hot-dog bun.

Am I the only person who thinks that extra centimeter or two of length makes this phone look absolutely ugly?? I have a Fascinate and I wouldn't trade it in for that if someone paid me...

Well, never mind. I was moderately excited about this, but now I'm not.

I switched over to Sprint because I wanted a Galaxy S, and the Epic seemed like the best-of-the-bunch. I kept it for about a week. WiMax was nigh-unusable inside and lack of signal strength made it look for towers all the time, which hammered the battery like crazy. Back to Verizon, and with my Fascinate I've been

@Jordyce: Of course I didn't. I was trying to be funny. I guess I will now, though! :P

How is the end of a Pokemon game a spoiler??

So, Samsung, here's the deal.

I'll tell you what this does. This keeps you from throwing out the printer, and therefore keeps you buying inkjet cartridges — which is where all the money is.

Giz, you should just straight-up delete this article. That website is complete garbage. I stopped counting the amounts of incorrect information after about 10 seconds of looking at my search.

@lancec50: Bing is not the default on all the Galaxy S phones. Only the Fascinate.

@Lucian Armasu: The biggest problem with this (you allude to it) is that once you have a device that does color Web content and video, then you've crossed the line into needing higher performance, so you're going to stuff a better chip and more memory into it - negating the low-power benefits of having an E-ink

If the AI for Carcassonne on iPhone is anything like the AI on Xbox, it's not anywhere near up-to-snuff. It might be fine for beginning players but my girlfriend and I both consistently beat Expert AI by 25 points.

I would theoretically love to buy one of these things, but if they don't have a reasonably-priced WiFi version my fiancée would skin me alive when it shows up at my doorstep.

@iwuzbord: Don't forget the XBox-ified Tiger Woods on slide #4. But yes, the bulls and tractors (and the really really really bad wheat) on last slide take the cake.

This looks like a 12-year-old's first project with Photoshop.
