I’ve gotten myself into a lot of trouble with 200 HP, my MkV GTI ain’t too much of a slouch. My roommates making over 300 HP (to the wheels) in their MkVI GTIs is bonkers though. However, my father’s 750i is fast, but doesn’t feel insane and that has well over 400 HP. I don’t know, it’s all about perspective.

Because holding boost between shifts is worthless, right.

What about 318ti badges on an M3????

I do my maintenance on time and replace things as they wear. I'm not super meticulous, if something needs to be replaced, it is replaced.

My jimmies are rustled with you calling DSG transmissions CVT...not even close, baby.

The new VWs are made in Mexico.

You would probably be upset to know that I was caught going 133 mph in my GTI in Virginia (born and raised) and I got let off with a hefty warning. However, after that I have had to make court appearances for ridiculous shit like going 6 mph over the speed limit, as a grey late 90s Honda Accord cruised past me going

I'm kind of confused, this has the new gen 3 TSI and it only pulls 6.9 0-60? My ~stock~ Mk5 GTI with DSG does 0-60 in 6.3 in best possible conditions (recorded via camera and counted via stopwatch multiple times). I hardly believe it is that slow, and all of the DSG models are faster than their manual counterparts (2

I mean I could blabber about how the new TSI has won multiple engine of the year awards and how pretty much the only reoccurring problem on the Mk6s were the water pump...but, I think that would fall on deaf ears. Even with my FSI I can say that my GTI has had no major malfunctions that are out of the ordinary even at

The Evo is also being discontinued, so it's important to take note of that.
