My sister has downs and she is the happiest most joyful person in my life. I am grateful to have her as my sister. Whatever happens, you will be fine. 

Maybe journaling about it would be helpful. It could give you an outlet for the fear and grief, and possibly plan for the future if necessary. Wishing all the best for you and your child.
