Preeeeeeetty much, this. I’m not sure how this article got approved.

Came here to post much the same thing.  Like the halo in F1 and the aeroscreen in IndyCar, the numbers will be normalized by the end of the season and people will stop complaining -- especially after the first time that new number placement saves a driver’s life!

This is the correct take.  Well done.

Sweet! I entered the comments just to ask the same question (I’m currently traveling back in the US from Europe super-short notice after a crazy week and honestly have no idea what day or time my body is even in right now...).  Glad to have you here on the regular, Elizabeth!

So, not just another first win at a plate track, but a rain-shortened one, at that.  I really like Bubba Wallace -- always have.  I do want to see him and 23XI do great (for the extent I care about NASCAR), but I have a long history of ranting about plate tracks and how they are a crapshoot and how I don’t really take

I hope we get to see this many more times!

Just waking up across The Pond and seeing the updates. Still not a lot of motivational details behind it, but the “who did what” now seems to be out there. Though it’s easy to draw conclusions from the scant information in the story update, it’s still all just supposition at this point (as far as I know as of this

Don’t know the details behind it, obviously, but that’s crazy.  Best to the families of all involved. :(

Ain’t that the “No Shit, Sherlock” statement of the article right there, yeah?

Nah, they just saw a middle-aged male in the Netherlands who was under 6' 3" and said, “That must be our guy!”

I’m glad I’m not the only one who went there...

Oh, I’m sure it was out there, but I read a few different english language media sources over here (I’m just outside The Hague), and all had headlines about the initial arrest. I honestly don’t recall seeing news of the identification and release. I have no doubt it was out there, but most likely buried a few pages

Elizabeth, PLEASE proofread out loud before hitting “publish”. Please?

Interesting.  I know about the squishing the browser thing, but I don’t think I’ve noticed a “show all” prompt.  Off I go to look!

What’s funny is that I read all about how they arrested some wanted mafia boss over the race weekend. I never read about how it was just one big “van OOPSIE!”...

Heroes, capes, and the like.  You are a blessing.  Too bad this can’t be pinned at the top of the comments somehow.

And that color just WORKS in that photo, too!

My sister owned three of them and absolutely adored each one.  I, on the other hand, really, REALLY did not like them.  I drove a 1998 Ranger for several years (and really liked that truck), so I don’t understand that one, myself.

It was the FIRST thing that I thought of reading, “...ahead of their time”!
