"Has Camaro guts: is good car"

The V6-powered and rear-wheel drive Opel Omega was a good cruiser in Europe, not to mention the giant wagon version, but that didn't make it Cadillac material.

Hardly the same car, The G8 has the same underpinnings as the Camaro.

so you ended up with the Z28 right? or did you have to settle for the lowly ZL1? lol

One other thing to look out for: Check if a brand offers events, which allow you to drive the car under more "special" situations than a small drive around town.

When I bought my 350z, the salesman just told me to take it home and give it a real test drive. I brought it back the next day and ended up buying. When going over the paperwork, he said he knew I would most likely end up buying because of the "mental ownership" with a longer/overnight test drive. It definitely has an

Helpful info. If time permits, I like to take the car for a drink. Go to a little cafe or fast food place, one that has outdoor seating, and just look at the car while you BS with the salesman or wife/husband. If you don't enjoy looking at it, don't buy it. I've been swayed from several cars this way.

It's interesting that car buyers aren't being encouraged to test drive more, as a car salesman, I'm consistently trying to get potential buyers to test drive the car they're interested in, it helps them take "mental ownership" of the vehicle and almost doubles the likelihood that you can sell them that day.

The house always wins.
