I don’t think you’d be trying to merge on a highway AND lower all your power windows at the same time. Though, power window motor weight is an issue, so you don’t bring up a point about the car being underpowered.
Ah. I didn't expect that all used ones have dead batteries, but I'm sure someone abused their Leaf and killed their battery somehow, and then unloaded it cheap.

True. But does the Leaf have nicer trim, and more features, for the price? I was looking at a 2015 Versa for a family member a few months ago, and the base model didn't even have power windows. For the price, it looks like you get more with the Leaf.
So...can you buy one cheap, with a dead battery, and somehow convert this to be just a gas driven vehicle?
There seems to be a much more dramatic slope to the hood, giving a sense of momentum.
