If you could feel something like V-TEC kick in, then isn't it inherently a BAD thing? Wouldn't you want changes likes this under throttle to happen smoothly?

I’ve seen many of those white, windowless panel versions of HHR used for commercial purposes. Those seem like good options for, say, a pool cleaning company. I may be wrong, but it seems like the HHR dimensions lend themselves better to hauling ladders and such.
For what it’s worth, you can still get a 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T V8 for about $33k.
