Vacation is just about ready. I did the Indycar / Pirelli WC races the past two years, but it’ll be nice to go back to doing the Vintage Races this year.

The racing was absolutely fantastic last year, and as long as the weather holds out it should be a great time. Plus I get to try the new lens on things with more than 2 wheels (see below).

Well, I made the purchase last night. After much “back-and-forth” over what I wanted to buy (Go cheap with a mazda 3? Fun and a little juvenile with a FoST? Be a boring Grown up and get an Accord?), I decided that I should really get what I wanted.

So, my “summary of payments” showed up from my car insurance and it looks like they’re only going to cover a small portion of my hospital and follow up visits from my accident.

Since I last frequented these parts, I made the decision to ditch my old, increasingly frustrating job to work at a smaller company.

Well, I decided to interview with another local company to test the waters and because frankly... my current job is frustrating.

Today I’m kicking off my vacation with a trip to Road America for the Pirelli Challenge race.

If you’re not keeping track of Red Bull GRC, you really should be. The racing was great yesterday. Lites action was intense, and the supercars really beat each other up in their finals. 10/10 would attend again and get incredibly sunburned.

I’m planning to be there Sunday for some entertaining racing and to hopefully take some pictures.
