I would take a Pasadena on it.

German engineering, proud inventors of the 12 piece hammer.
I don’t think Henry Ford had an engineering degree; but I would say he did a lot of engineering work in his career. Would a degreed engineer look at Henry Ford and say “He’s no engineer”.......
IIRC, he hit 715 off of Trenton, NJ native Al Downing. Al Downing was a very good lefty.
David is in route, no doubt. This is his spirit animal w/o the “Sgt Schultz” inspection. If he brings over the Euro model, he will be the only guy in the States with a somewhat matched pair....
I used to pay fellow girl students $1 per page to type my term papers. They made beer money and I got the typing done. Everybody won. Some of those girls could type ‘like the wind’.
When the car debuted, Studebaker re-named their house band “The Dictators”
Not so fast, Opel made the Manta and the Manta Ray concept...GM owned Opel, then sold Opel a couple years ago...question is, did the old names go along with the sale ‘lock, stock & barrel’
Have driven a 505, most comfortable seats ever....excellent thought out knobs and switches, really good factory window tint. The thing was the engine would damn near get you run over while merging; very weak indeed. If you turned on the AC, you would have to get out and push...Other than engine, terrific car...505…
“It reminds me of my childhood. Mommy never touched me, no hugs, nothing. Totally soulless. She would just walk up and announce that I was her property to anyone who would listen.”
GM’s magnetic ride control is a trick piece of military level engineering. They lease it out to one of the high end Italians, because the Italian company doesn’t have the time, money or talent to develop on their own. GM can do some things very well; they just need to get it all together.
There are an increasing amount of days when I feel Jalopnik has ‘jumped the shark’.....Is it just me?
Till the sun goes down, then it is “Neon Nights”
I think the LC is Toyota’s halo car, much like the Corvette is for GM. You swoon over the Corvette and take home a Camaro, swoon over a LC and take home a 4Runner.
Donald Byrd, you say; well done...may you always be “Walking in Rhythm”
They could borrowed from the past “Galaxy” “Starliner” or perhaps purchased from GM “Electra 225"...not that GM would let that happen...There was a time when a lot of peeps wanted a “Deuce and 1/4"...
IIRC, these had the automatic shoulder seat belt...easily the most irritating automotive safety thing of all time...
Bingo..Familes used to drive large station wagons (Country Squire, anyone?), then the minivan replaced the wagons and now the four door pick up is the new ‘family hauler’....they hardly ride like trucks from years ago...they are getting to darn big though...
If scale can bring down the cost of the base model to the $30-$35K range, these cars would fly off the lots.
