I had a new ‘96 Bonneville with the Series II 3.8 engine. I put 72K on it in two years (sales job) and it never missed a beat. Lease penalties at the time were .10 cents/mile but my company would cut you a check for the overage, so I bought and gave it to my wife to drive. She loved it and drove it till 122K till we

I recall seeing this on the news on the East Coast as a 10 yr old....Jeez, I feel old...

I thought it was a Hearse at first glance. It is cool, but not for me even @$10K.

If you think about it for a minute, No more Ford LTD and no more Chevy Caprice or big Buick, Pontiac or Olds.  If you want large, comfy, quiet domestic 4 door the 300 is the only game in town.  My brother has one and he loves it; says the 3.5L is peppy enough with decent MPG.  Probably the only Chrysler product I

Jesus, Mary & Hank Williams, people. Chrysler products have for decades been somewhat cheaper than Ford & GM; so they could compete....Rust is universal in some areas, but, resurrection of these rusty Jeeps seems to be a fool’s errand. If it is a hobby that you love; OK I guess....Just because I don’t understand

Come on now, the only people that say “Joisy” are from Staten Island & Brooklyn.  You will never hear that from a NJ native.

Maceo...!

Combat Wombat & Dirt Squirt FTW..!

Hold on now, The Ford Flex is at a different price point and you have to admit that it is a functional, affordable refrigerator....Like an original Land Rover doesn’t look like two bricks stacked together SMH....

Excellent choice but I will raise you an Elvis “Santa Claus is back in town”

Exactly...I am reading all this thinking “have any readers actually looked at some farm tractors?”  Never saw counter weights on a tractor?  if you grow up/live in Brooklyn, I can understand that....

I can just about gaurantee that motorcycle engine will be more reliable than the MG’s ever would be; so there’s that...

Is David Tracy your brother?

One of the better shows I saw in college..The Hooters opened up, followed by Garland Jefferies (who made a big impression on me) followed by the head act Kid Creole & The Coconuts...Good times..! Garland also does a good version of ? & The Mysterians “96 Tears”.

I think you have to give the old guy credit for sticking with his purchase. His TCO is pretty low I surmise.

“Oh Well”

I would drive it in a beach community perhaps, but not on an interstate.  Too much money for me, but cut that price in half and we could talk.  No dice at $13K...
