@Hana Maru, used up old slutbag on the pole: I didn't say it never happens, and I'm not a rape apologist. I do have first hand knowledge, I am in the military. I hear people make uninformed accusations that it happens "all the damn time" who are only repeating what they've heard.

@LaComtesse: It is against sex in a war zone. If you get caught having sex, you are punished. It says that in the article, though admits that it's easier to tell who's had sex when they become pregnant.

@Hana Maru, used up old slutbag on the pole: No one gets away with raping anyone all the time. Stop making random accusations unless you have first hand knowledge. No one can go off base and do what they want either. This is about deployed Soldiers on a base in Iraq who cannot leave the base unless on a mission.

@gerrrg: I wish I could promote or "karma" someone when they answer like this. That was a helpful answer. Thank you for taking the time to make a good community

@drmaybe: They made that optional in the last update to Dictation. You can choose yes/no seperate from accepting the EULA now, and they made existing users specify which they'd want, rather than making them look in the menus for new options.

@icamp: Agreed - one app with option to search or send, etc, would be helpful, rather than giving me two icons.

@raos: unless they smash the window and grab the GPS and run with it, like happened to my friend

@DanGarion: unless they smash the window and grab the GPS and run with it, like happened to my friend

@btowntkd: It's also useful for sending tasks to services like Nozbe or Toodledo that parse emails into tasks on their system. It's not just for messaging. I use it to send emails to myself, too, when I need to remember something, or know I'll want to copy/paste it into an email later and don't want to forget it,

LoL. I was just thinking "I'll put this in dropbox and pull it up on my iPhone whenever I need it - aren't I clever." Then I read computermom's post . . . I forgot my phone had a calender in my rush to be geeky :)

@djbender: Thanks, I like good wallpapers. I appreciate the link

@wwusnobrdr: Thanks for pointing me to more cool wallpapers :)

I love these posts. I've been decorating my computer (and my Family/friends') since Halloween with images from these. Thank you :)

@Bobly: Very true :)

That picture at the bottom of the article looks like a screen capture from Mirror's Edge. It makes me want to run and either kick in the red doors, or grab the pole the lights hanging on to swing to the upper floor.

I like these for learning how to play that darn "Qu," or "Z," but this is why online Scrabble is impossible. Doesn't stop me from trying, though.

@Bonsai_halcyon: It's not free, but I've used Virtual Drive from Farstone for a while. Lost the install disk (I know, ironic) so on my new computer I got an old version of the program off ebay for pretty cheap. I think I have version 10. It makes copies of the disks, though, so your hard drive fills up fast.

@fredcadete: I think, when I used the Evernote app before, that it recognized text as soon as I took a picture. I don't know if it sent it to the server to process, and just did it so fast I didn't notice.

@relyk5: My lack of use of Evernote may be why I see usefulness in doodles. Having a 3G and no near focus makes me cringe to think of using photos with Evernote which sounds awesome. Almost enough to upgrade to 3GS. I wish I could find one of those cases with the macro lens for cheap to give it a try.
