I've got a large amount of .avi files that I've set aside to convert for iPhone or iPod watching, but after Handbrake converts them to .mp4, when I take them into my Library I have to click "convert for iPod use" or something similar in iTunes, which takes a really long time.

I use SMC Fan Control ( [www.macupdate.com] ) on my Macbook. Tells you the temperature at the menu bar and gives you control of the fans- cranking them up to ~6000 rpm gives me a temp decrease of about 20ºF.
