One can’t blame Castro for the actions the USA took to stem communism. The School of The Americas, their backing of Ultra Right dictators, those are the USA’s deeds alone, done to fight to protect their business interests abroad.

Difference being that one was a puppet installed by an imperialist superpower and one was not. One can acknowledge Castro’s oppression of dissent while also finding it ridiculous that Americans still somehow think they have moral authority to condemn him on human rights. This attitude is simply preposterous.

Depends on who you voted for. I voted Hillary and actually enjoyed this article, even if it’s not satirical. It’s a good balance to this site and all of the other Post-Gawker sites.

The third party candidates had the same statistics the rest of us did, hell even Gary Johnson’s VP was stumping for Hillary towards the end. With HRC in office, we’d still have almost half the nation completely disaffected and angry, but we wouldn’t also be staring down the barrel of a worldwide economic collapse.
