I prefer the term “broad”.

It is now listed on BaT.

Have had one of these on my garage wall for a few years.  Very useful tool to have.  Even more useful when I decided last year to finally organize my bin of mix bolts, nuts, and washers.  Glad I took the probably 8 hours to do it (hour or two each evening until done).

Even better, in Ohio, it is .08 driving, but on the water it is .10.  So I can tow my boat to the ramp legally drunk at .09, hop in the boat and now be legal to operate that.

What it comes down to is the Fed didn’t do their job.  The company stole and wasn’t appropriately punished.  Not shocked.

For as much as folks complain about these, they hold their values well and almost seem to be climbing.

I had been wanting a ‘16 - ‘18 2SS 6MT with the dual mode exhaust, mag ride and sunroof (pretty much as loaded as you can get). Would have done an 1LE for as well once it was released as a 2SS in ‘18.

The problem is

That Merc only bit to $18,750 on BaT last month.  You can ask any price you want for a car - doesn’t mean anyone will pay it.

This car was already on BaT: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1992-mercedes-benz-500e-44/

This is an EASY NP.  4th Gen F-bodies have been increasing in value over the past couple of years.  Calloway cars consistently bring in a premium, regardless of the model.  Add that together and those voting ND are simply clueless to the market.

I can’t understand why Amazon would want to soil their brand with Mitsubishi.

20...

Not sure how this is surprising.  Boat and RV sales, which are FAR more expensive than motorcycles, were through the roof in 2020.

Optispark is a couple hundred bucks and not that hard to swap.  Stupid reason to hate an engine.  And there are alternatives to not run one (or run an aftermarket one).  Stupid reason to not like a motor.

LT1 aftermarket is just fine.  Take a look to see the fastest H-pattern, RWD car in the US is.  Hint - not an LSx, Ford, import, etc.

Except the Fox Body’s of that era actually weight ~3100 - 3300lbs fully fueled, depending on options and body configuration. That’s on a scale, not the BS published curb weights.

Friends don’t let friends drive FWD.  Automatic CP.

Try hitting that ratchet with your purse.  Brakes aren’t that hard - and I live in the salt belt, so I know what it is like dealing with it.  Watch a YouTube video if you have any questions.

I regret not buying a used 2nd Gen Elise several years ago when they hit the bottom of their depreciation curve. I could have drove one for years and sold it for more than I paid for it.

Same goes for the 996 I almost bought 6 years ago.  Regrets.

Necrobeastaphiliacs are also odd balls, doesn’t mean I should hang out with them to make my life “richer.”  Same goes for those that would own one of these things.

Doesn’t apply to all cars.  I have seen it allow people to post C8 Vettes for 60k over sticker (yes, I saw a 160k listing for one there, on a near 100k sticker).  I have seen C6Z’s for 20k over what KBB lists as well.
