The guy does come off with an attitude, and the cop clearly has had interactions with the guy before, but nobody seems to want to address that 1) The cop issued a ticket without having "clean hands." I can’t see the video at work, but NO factory vehicle (that I’ve ever driven) allows you to keep the fog lights on with the high beams. It’s a legal thing (I forget what the law is exactly, but it basically doesn’t allow that combination to be a thing.)

My old Pathfinder works the way that he’s insisting his Tacoma works. It has fogs that only work when the low beams are on. Flip the highbeams and the fogs go out.

Cops have no such duty to protect, prevent, or anything else that the taxpayers think they pay for. Government courts so ruled ages ago.

The bar is so low because people generally suck. I agree that this fact itself is lamentable, but still... good guy is good guy on this one and it’s nice to see people acknowledge it.
You don’t have to explain why it is basically decent; I said that, I acknowledge that. Not criticizing this guy in the least. I’m merely pointing out that we’re at a point where basic decency from these presumably adult celebrity athletes is remarkable enough to warrant this attention.
Oh I agree, I’m just pointing out the irony that in its day Burnout 1, a game about smashing cars, has less damage modelling than a simulation game, which are notorious for not having this sort of thing (mostly thanks to Gran Turismo).
