Jay owns one of the SIX SHOGUN Fiestas produced.

Wasn't there a TRD package for these?

I assure you, anything is superior to a Sebring convertible. A Sebring convertible isn't even good at being a convertible. or being a car, for that matter.
A solara is like a Sebring convertible that actually can be a convertible and be a car at the same time, and do so reliably.

2001 Ford Thunderbird. Noone remembers those.

my lady is like this. i taught her how to drive stick, her dad taught her too, and she actually does it fine, but she is so scared of stalling on a public road that she just freezes up and WILL NOT DO IT. weird stuff

5. Did you read the article btw? I don't think you're making the case you think you are LOL.... Here are some gems from the conclusion.

1. You obviously know nothing if you think RWD is all there is to life. -RWD Diehard, having grown up, there is more to life than donuts. I have owned 22+ cars, the majority of which have been RWD, ranging from a 280ZX to a S12 200SX to a AE86 SR5 to Pontiac Fiero GT Fastback 5MT to Thunderbird Super Coupe 5MT... very

please enlighten us all then

I'm only familiar with CA laws and the standards taught here.

everyone in California not intending to put it on a credit card?

DUDE! I know people that are doing this. I'm all WHAT THE FUCK, you are married but live separately? What is this, marriage or proto divorce? o_O

It's implied in the cvc that the car must be registered for such operations and can't be just "determined" to be conducting undcover ops. It is or it is not engaged in either undercover activities or standard patrol with no gray area/crossover in between.

Undercover usage in this context requires that the agency specially register the car for such and not use said unmarked vehicle for patrol use.
Violation of integrity. Cop to cop this one should see prosecution.
I'm not an officer but did go through the academy. We were taught to hold other accountable for breaches of

Nope, you're a LEO, surprise! You're a Public Officer, and the law is directed specifically at you, the officer, not any civilian use, so the question of whether or not it applies is a non-starter.
The officer admitted that this is not a car registered for special undercover use and registered for such purpose,

AND THEY HAVE THAT SHIT THERE DUDE

trust me, they do. seen the things firsthand many times in the "DESTROY" bin sometimes even with the HID kibble still left in em.
maybe not a really well made OEM headlight if you are very lucky, but any aftermarket or OEM knockoff will not stand up to it.

A place called Video Game Geeks in Anaheim, CA has every obsolete system you can imagine, including 3D0, new in box intellivision, atari, they even had a friggin ATARI JAGUAR!! I had never known anyone who had one, let alone seen one, not seeming to exist outside of half-true legends told about it in 4th and 5th grade.

oh I agree they're a terrible idea in a non projector housing
but the civics don't blind me through my mirrors like those fucking trucks. who clearly have money to spend to be able to afford doing it right.

agreed; it's not that awful when a civic has ghetto HIDs, but when some dipshit in a lifted vehicle has done it it's fucking dangerous for anyone ahead of you, both traffic travelling the same direction and the other way.

also he shared fucking 55w's, which will MELT YOUR HEADLAMP LENSES... Most headlights w/o a glass lens will MELT when exposed to a 55w HID. Use 35w or you'll be sorry.
Source: I used to work at an aftermarket headlight company and people would call in having melted their headlights doing exactly what i described.

Note that it's 55W HIDs, which is even worse than regular HIDs. Not only will your blind oncoming traffic sticking HIDs in any non-projector headlamp housing, but also if you put a 55w HID in a headlamp with a PLASTIC LENS you will MELT YOUR HEADLIGHT LENSES
