I am BlueBomber on all three. Guess what color I am.

Cheers

No, just my opinion after driving both. the shop I work at also services volkswagens. Got the chance to drive last year's model before a coworker traded it in to get an S4.
Drove the Focus ST on the street and on East Track at Miller Motorsports Park.
Felt spunkier, more positive
Less quirky

and pricing and the realities

Everyone knows the real Z-Car show is on the west coast and takes place at Motorsport Auto in orange. I forget what they call themselves now, but that is the Z-car show to be at and be seen at.

100% legit statement.

Dealer discounts, and I don't 100% trust C&D or many of the buff mags still left

Not when I was shopping - base w/o recaros is $24k, but that said the Focus ST is selling to a different buyer than the guy buying a Fiesta ST
But it does line up with Ford dealers being much more willing to deal than VW

You want to talk about out of touch? Fiat dealers are scrambling to sell '13 Abarth models and are letting them go as low as $16k. SIXTEEN!!

Not really. The FiST is a hot hatch, also has 5-doors, is larger than a 3-door older GTI, it's within +-5 grand...

We can uprate to FoST if you want but I don't feel like the FoST has the "you have to push it hard all the time" feel the article makes out - the only reason my buddy Kevin and I drove my Fiesta ST from LA

Now playing

As a fellow Z-Car alumni (280ZX - see here http://www.cardomain.com/id/redline280z… ) I heartily recommend the Fiesta ST. The Focus ST and Fiesta ST are the only FWD cars I know that stock, will happily oversteer through a corner and don't understeer.
Whether you are coming from a Z31 or Z32 you will not be

We don't get the Polo in the USA.

While I didn't mention the S2000 in my post above the S2k is the superior car between FR-S/BRZ and S2k. Both cars have similar torque outputs but the S2k manages more horsepower AND torque despite being a 10 year old car.
FR-S and BRZ fail the daily driver test, they don't do well on grocery runs and more than two

I would love to know what was capable enough on an iPad to manage actually editing. I do some light video shooting and editing on my phone for Social media stuff but when I used iMovie on iPad it was the most hateful fucking thing

I'm interested in how it stacks up against a Fiesta ST.
I made my decision based on the fact that it was under $26k to get one with the Recaro seats, it actually gets 25+city mpg real world and 30+hwy real world, runs 87 or 91 fuel, seats 5, can carry your groceries comfortably and still will happily hand an FR-S its

It's a statistical reality that the simple act of getting on a motorcycle is an assumption of risk and from the outset.

We know it is dangerous. We know we might die. I know it's hard to put into words, but there is little as life-affirming as riding your favorite mountain road on a motorcycle.
Not even top down

I'm not making excuses for myself or my riding, unfortunately, it's a statistical reality that if you ride long enough, eventually someone will not see you and something bad will happen, even if you're a safe proactive rider. Every time you get on a motorcycle it is an acceptance of risk. It says that right in the MSF

Jason can you please tag Motorcycle Safety Foundation in stories like this as well as a reminder to riders to please, gear up.

Dress for the slide, not the ride. All the gear, all the time.

Armor very much helped save my life and also made recovery when the inevitable motorist did hit me all that much faster.

Unfortunatel

the problem is camry drivers are not smoking

Uh what are you talking about?
We've had an 8.8 IRS since 1989, dude. Google "MN-12 Chassis". Available with or without limited slip. And as for the new guys getting used to it the Chevy guys eventually had to quit their fucking bitching and manned up and made a beefed up independent rear end like big boys instead of

Mustang ST. DONE.

"Sports Technology".
