In this case, the car was let down by its engine as well as its transmission.
WRX manuals fit and conversions have been done with awesome results
I remember being so happy when they finally fixed those goofy headlights- during the last year of its production run. i liked the car but its headlights always killed it for me, and then they fixed them like in the pic you posted
Well, shit. I swore that there was a manual transmission with that Comp G commercial because I remember thinking in the commercial, "yeah, there'll be all of zero built with that manual". The Getrag 5-speed out of the Fiero GT (and only GT) will bolt right up to the 3800sc tho.
I owned a 5-speed MN12 Thunderbird. You could get a stick Supercoupe or XR7 from 1989 through 1995. Both versions only had the stick available with the supercharged engine and used a Mazda M5R2 trans. I had a 1990 SC. that car was a RIOT to drive and had power for days.
okay, let me answer that with this: Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Comp G. A 6 speed manual was an option for that generation of the car- I specifically remember the commercial.
there is no way it could have saturn dna, man. saturn, while the corporation existed in 1986, did not even produce cars for another year after this motorweek.
also, i see no SL1 cues. MR2 + Reatta + Subaru GL AWD = XT6/alcyone
when a -BMW- lights up. I'm used to the feds sticking to domestics. I'm kind of glad the cops hate the Chargers, because they seem to be clinging pretty hard to the CV in the places I drive. The departments all -have- the Chargers, but I swear, the cops are choosing to take the Vic whenever possible. The only…
exactly. That's why all the used BMW police bikes for sale at the CHP used cars lot are all 150k or have been downed badly
hate to break it to you, but I have seen undercover BMWs in service here in California. I once had a teal green E46 suddenly turn on reds and blues on me, then speed off when I slowed down...
Was it the swanky AWD titanium model? or an FWD stripper? I'm highly considering buying a Fusion Titanium AWD [with the 19 y-spokes, illuminated doorsills, etc in deep impact blue] as my next car if/when my '99 V70R gives out. Can't stand giving up my AWD
so did they let you drive it or what?
I can sympathize. Let me preface this by stating that I am a Southern California native, and though I've lived all over the US I find myself back here. For a time, my socal ass found myself in Iowa City, IA. I had never dealt with such schizophrenic weather- crazy temperature swings, and there was the CONSTANT threat…
Man, I always got out of trouble in my Fiero GT with throttle - and I only got it to oversteer on me once.
I can kinda see what you're saying since not many were sold not many people quite know what it is.
I never had 240z; a friend had one - and did one of the earliest SR20DET swaps into the S30 chassis. that car had no radio, no ac, no vents - nothing. It was fast, unpredictable and scary. The rx7 here looks like crap in every aspect of its build
precisely; it's like the car would've been so much cooler without a bunch of the crap on it, like the wood plank and the cheesy stickers and the external oil cooler... god the stickers are douchey
In what dimension does the Crossfire look like an expensive exotic?
